Our Devon holiday cottages and pottery studio are situated on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, https://www.dartmoor.gov.uk/ Nettle and Dock lies in the very centre of Devon in the hamlet of Hillerton. You will find yourself in an unspoilt landscape with glorious rolling pastures and ancient woodland. Offering up 3 different experiences in our unique accommodation, from our fully equipped barn to our glamping tents.

Or Devon holiday cottages offer rural tranquility in the heart of true working Devon farmland, where you can relax and enjoy bare-footed nature, sit out under the night sky warmed by an open fire, take time to listen to the abundant wildlife or just curl up in our cosy accommodation. Sink into one of our out side baths/hot tubs. Enjoy a stroll through our broadleaf woodland or sit by our lake.

Whether you choose the Acorn Barn, our beautiful Shepherds Hut or one of our Glamping Domes, you will find home comforts, luxury and a chance to unwind.

Our Devon holiday cottages are superbly positioned for exploring the whole of Devon and North Cornwall. With Dartmoor on your doorstep and both north and south Devon coasts less than an hour away, if you get bored of relaxing you won’t be short of trip or two. The gateway to Dartmoor National Park, Okehampton, lies just 8 miles away. In Dartmoor you can spend days exploring the idyllic little towns and villages, walking up dramatic Tors, kayaking on wild rivers, horse riding or walking along meandering streams…….it’s a nature lovers paradise!

We spent a fantastic weekend in the barn……

and it completely surpassed our expectations. It is a beautiful space – thoughtfully furnished, light, and luxurious. We were silly enough to travel with our two young children (2.5yrs and 1yr) and the barn was ideal for them – a dedicated children’s room, with toys, books, travel cot, and a decent black-out blind on the window. It really made all the difference. Communication and face-to-face interaction was friendly and helpful, and it really felt like a haven from the real world. Thank you for a great stay – we look forward to coming back in the future.

If you lead a busy life and you just need to get away from it all this is the place for you! Location is perfect, the pod is amazing and has everything you need. There is even an electric heater and heat blanket in the bed. Lovely and relaxing listening to the birds singing all day and sitting by the fire pit watching the stars at night. 100% recommend You won’t be disappointed

Ilona is a fantastic host and has thought of everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The hut is fantastic and the outdoor tub a real cherry on the cake. Will return again for sure.
